Skiers' French Toast
1 stick butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons dark corn syrup
1 loaf French Bread (cut into thick slices)
5 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
pinch of nutmeg
Cook butter, brown sugar, corn syrup until sugar is dissolved; pour into
9 x 13 pan. Layer cut bread on top of syrup mixture in pan. In separate
bowl mix eggs, milk, vanilla and nutmeg; pour over bread slices. Cover and
refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
