SOPHIE'S CHRISTMAS COFFEE CAKE
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- TOPPING:
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
Cream together margarine and sugar. Beat in eggs and mix well.
Add vanilla, sour cream, flour and baking soda. Pour half the
batter In an 8" square baking dish that has been greased
and floured. Mix together all topping ingredients. Pour half
the topping mix over the batter in the pan. Spoon on the remaining
batter and sprinkle with remaining topping.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 - 35 minutes.
