BANANA TEA BREAD 
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1 3/4 c. sifted flour
- 1 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 c. mashed bananas
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Cream shortening and sugar until light
and fluffy. Add well beaten eggs. Add sifted dry ingredients
alternately with mashed bananas. Mix until smooth. Pour into
well greased loaf pan. Bake 1 hr. at 350 degrees.
